Tax Credit has been EXTENDED!!

On November 6th 2009 President Obama signed a law to extend the current tax credit of $8,000 offered to first-time home buyers. A tax credit of up to $6,500 is also being offered to repeat buyers who have owned their current home for at least 5 years. This temporary tax credit was due to expire on November 30th 2009 and has now been extended to May 1st 2010.   Some of the terms of the credit have changed including a new limit to homes costing LESS than $800,000.  There are additional restrictions on buyers eligibility dependent on gross income.
